For information about the Center for Behavioral Decision Research, please visit: http://cbdr.cmu.edu The CBDR internship is open to students who are interested in and would like to conduct research investigating topics in social and cognitive psychology, behavioral economics, organizational behavior, marketing, the impact of alcohol on decision-making, and risk perception. Interns will spend approximately 30 hours/week working on current research projects in the center with Professors Loewenstein, Moore, Morewedge, Weber, Vosgerau, and graduate student researchers. Work will include conducting experimental sessions, reading background literature, and coding and analyzing data. The internship begins on June 2nd. We expect at least a one month commitment. The internship does not cover the cost of housing, traveling, or living expenses. Accepted applicants must make their own arrangements for summer housing. Economical housing should not be difficult to find, as Pittsburgh is one of the most affordable cities in America.
