We will meet from 9-5 Thursday and Friday in KHS-199 with coffee breaks and receptions in a room near by (KHS 119). These are the same rooms that we used in 2007. A campus map is shown below, and a New Printable Campus Map is linked here
KHS (Kinesiology and Health Science) is in the center of campus, near the athletic fields, about five minute walk north of Langsdorf Hall (where we met in 2004 and 2005), which is at the main entrance to campus on the corner of Nutwood and Commonwealth.
From the Chase Suites hotel, turn left as you leave the front door of the hotel, and walk North to Nutwood Dr. Turn West (left) on Nutwood toward the freeway, go under the freeway and cross Nutwood carefully at one of the signals (e.g. Commonwealth). Langsdorf hall is the 9 story building near the fountain at the main campus entrance. You can ignore the large building (for the Business School) is under construction between the Marriott hotel and Langsdorf.
When you get to Langsdorf Hall, walk North along the left (West side) of Langsdorf hall and continue North through the main quad. Continue North past the Powell Library (PL on the map below) to a second quad (see the map below, aka memorial grove), and then look diagonally ahead and to the left (North-West). The large building is KHS, combining a gym and modern lecture facilities. The Web cams linked below show these two buildings, so that you can recognize them when you arrive. Ignore the breeze-way running North and South, and turn left (West) and walk along the South front of the building. You will see another breeze way at the South West corner of the building. On the left side is the entrance to KHS-199 (meeting room), and to the right is a door that leads to KHS-119 (coffee room), which is immediately inside and on the left.

The best way to get from any of the local airports to the hotel is to take Super Shuttle.
From LAX Southern route: Take the 91 Freeway East Toward Riverside. Transition to the 57 Freeway, North toward Pomona. Exit the 57 Freeway at Nutwood Drive. Turn East on Nutwood Drive (You will turn right on Nutwood). You will see the Hotel on your right as you approach the exit, From Nutwood, it is on your right, behind a restaurant and gas station. You can drive between the restaurant and gas station to the loading area for the hotel. You can also turn right at the next corner (Placentia) and then turn right again into a strip Mall that contains the hotel.
From Los Angeles Central Route: Take the 5 freeway (Santa Ana) South toward San Diego. Transition to the 91 Freeway East Toward Riverside. Transition to the 57 Freeway, North toward Pomona. From Los Angeles, Valleys, Pasadena: Northern Routes: Take ANY of these freeways East: 134/210 OR the 10 Freeway toward San Bernadino, OR the 60 Freeway toward Riverside. Transition to the 57 Freeway South toward Orange. Exit at Nutwood Drive. Turn East on Nutwood (left). The hotel is on your right, behind a restaurant and gas station. From Irvine, San Diego: Southern Routes: Take 405 to the 5 freeway transition
toward Santa Ana (North), transition to the 57 Freeway toward Pomona. OR you can
take the 405 to the 55 freeway north to 5 Santa Ana Freeway North to 57 Freeway
toward Pomona. Turn East on Nutwood Drive (right).
From Nutwood, it is on your right, behind a restaurant and gas station.

You can also turn right at the next corner (Placentia) and then turn right again into
a strip Mall that contains the hotel.
The "State College Parking Structure" (aka, SCPS on the new map), shown as
PS2 on the map below, is the Parking Structure on Gym Dr., West side of campus).
It is about 150 meters from the conference room. To walk to the conference room
from the Parking Structure, exit the lot on the South side and just go East past
the construction site (Future SRC on the map). KHS is a large white
building. Do not go up the stairs to the main entrance of Titan Gym, but
walk to the South (right side coming from the West) corner of the building.
Room 199 is to your right on the South-West corner of the building.
To drive to the parking structure from the hotel (or from the
Visitor's Kiosk), turn West on Nutwood Dr. and drive past
the campus to State College Blvd. Turn right (North) on State College.
Turn east (into the campus) on Gym Dr. You will see the police station is on your left,
turn right into the lot. Be sure you have parking permit first, as it is
very unlikely there will be any attendant at this parking structure during our meetings.
Driving Directions to the Visitors Kiosk at CSUF:
Exit the 57 Freeway at Nutwood Drive. Turn West on Nutwood. Drive past the
Marriott hotel (On your right) and past the main entrance to campus
(Commonwealth). Turn right at the next corner and right again. You will be
on S. Campus Drive (aka, visitors way) coming back parallel to Nutwood. The visitorıs kiosk will be
visible. They can provide parking information, permits, maps, information on
handicapped access and parking, and other directions. This kiosk is marked with "i" in a circle on
the map below.
Driving Directions to a parking structure near the meeting site
You can buy parking permits at the visitor's kiosk for $5. Be sure
to tell them you need to park near KHS (Kinesiology/Health Science) and suggest SCPS.
Information about the Chase Suites hotel
The Chase Suites hotel is just off Nutwood Drive just East of the 57
(Pomona) Freeway. It is close to the corner of Nutwood and Placentia Ave.

The Chase Suites 10 min. by foot from Langsdorf Hall on campus. The Chase Suites provide each room with a Jacuzzi, and price (same for single or double, which includes a breakfast) is very reasonable.
