Dear Students: Consider doing a project that would be worthy of presentation to the SCiP Meeting. Here is a link to information about the society: Link to Society for Computers in Psychology Prize for Student Papers: The student must be the primary author and the presenter of the paper. The winning author will receive a one-year membership in the Society, a one-year subscription to BRMIC, and a $100 cash prize. Students who wish to have their papers considered for the award should indicate their desire at the time of submission, and are required to submit the complete manuscript for evaluation for the competition by September 1, 2001. The award for the outstanding student paper will be presented at the conference during the business meeting. CHECKLIST FOR COVER PAGE All submission should include: (A) The title of the paper. (B) The names and institutional affiliations of all authors as they should appear in the program. (C) The name, postal address, email address, and telephone numbers of the corresponding author. (D) A 50-75 word abstract for inclusion in the program. (E) The symposium, if any, for which the paper is being contributed. (F) The requested time allowance for presenting the paper (generally 10 to 20 minutes) (G) Any audio-visual aids required (note that computers and projectors are typically not provided by SCiP). (H) Indicate whether the paper is to be considered for the Castellan Student Award. (I) Submission type (paper, poster, symposium, tutorial). (J) Indicate whether you would be willing to chair a session. (K) Summary of 1,000 words
