This is a study of perceptions of whether people on a date might have sex. If you do not want to read about sexual situations, please select a different study.

Background Scenario: Imagine that two single people meet at a party being held by a mutual friend. They immediately hit it off and end up talking for most of the evening. That night, before leaving the party, they decide to go out the following weekend.
In the questions below, the details of their date are going to change. The daters' ages, what they drank during the date, and where their date occurred will all vary. For this experiment you will be asked to judge how likely it is that the two people will engage in sexual intercourse at some point during that date.
The daters in this scenario will either be 18 years, 22 years, 30 years, or 42 years old, or their ages will be unknown to you. For the purposes of this study, assume that the two people are in a state where the legal drinking age is 18.
The two single people choose to go on their date to one of two locations. The locations are either a bar, or a restaurant. The bar is dark, but clean, and a very popular location. The restaurant is a moderately priced, quiet, and well-known location.
There are two types of drinks that the people drink during their date: they drink either hard liquor, or soft drinks. The term hard liquor refers to alcoholic beverage such as rum, scotch, vodka, etc. Soft drinks are non-alcoholic beverages such as cola, 7-up, iced tea, etc.
After considering the details of their date, you will be asked how likely it is that the two single people will engage in sexual intercourse during their date. Sometimes, some of the information will be unknown to you. In those cases, you will have to make your judgments based on partial information. Make your ratings by clicking a button on the scale which ranges from very, very unlikely to engage in sexual intercourse to very, very likely to engage in sexual intercourse. The button will be highlighted next to the question number until you click on your answer, which makes the dot jump to your choice. Clicking on the middle button means that it is neither likely nor unlikely (50-50 chance) that the two people will engage in sexual intercourse during their date. The more likely you think it is that they will have sex, the farther to the right you will click; the less likely you think it is, you should click farther to the left.
