A Mask of zero means that the parameter is free. A mask of 1 means that the
parameter is fixed to its initial value. The first scale value is always
fixed to one within the program.
The above set-up also fixes the second scale value, which
fixes the unit of the scale. S(1) = 1, S(2) = 2.
Parameters are as follows:
S(2) S(3) ... S(7) scale values for stimuli 2 through 7
AD = multiplicative constant for "difference" judgments AD(S(J)-S(I)) + BD
BD = additive constant for "difference" judgments
BR = additive constant for "less" RTs here set to 1.5 sec (1500 msec)
BRM = additive constant for "more" RTs here set to 1.5 sec
TR(1) TR(2) TR(3) ... TR(7) = bias parameters for "less" RTs
TRM(1) TRM(2) ... TRM(7) = bias parameters for "more" RTs.
