Welcome!
I am a cognitive psychologist with interests in language and thought processes across the life span. These interests are reflected in my research (e.g., speed of mental processing and IQ , creativity , pragmatic aspects of language use ) and in the courses I teach.
I regularly teach Psychology 110: Reasoning and Problem Solving, Psychology 415: Cognitive Psychology, and Psycholinguistics which can be taken as either Psychology 417 or Linguistics 417.
When I’m not around the psychology department (which my wife and puppies think is too much of the time) you might find me at the at the Ruby Gerontology Center since I am the Gerontology Programs Coordinator.
