Journey to the Top
of Jungfrau Mountain

Our cogwheel train has gears that grip a center rail on the tracks to get the traction it needs to climb the slopes towards Jungfrau Mountain. We are approaching a tiny settlement called Kleine Scheidegg at the base of the Mountain. Here, we will change to another cogwheel train that runs through a tunnel inside Eiger Mountain (3970 meters/13022 feet), which you see behind the train.
