Become a member

SIRE can only be successful if members are knowledgeable about evolutionary perspectives and are interested or active in research. For these reasons, membership is limited to those who have completed an Evolutionary Psychology, Evolutionary Anthropology, or an equivalent Biology course. Exceptions to this requirement will be made by SIRE officers on a case-to-case basis for students who demonstrate knowledge or experience equivalent to a course on evolutionary perspectives. Both CSUF and non-CSUF students and faculty may become members.

SIRE recognizes active members and inactive members. Active members are those who attended 3/4 of each semester's meetings and events; inactive members are those who attended less than 3/4 of the meetings and events.
